Bodhi mala with 108 bodhi seeds from Nepal. The seeds were originally collected from Bodhi trees and made into a mala. Bodhi seeds have sacred significance in Buddhism as it is under this tree where Siddhartha Gautama Buddha first attained enlightenment. In Tibetan Buddhism, bodhi malas are used to recite mantras.
